Commonly used maintenance methods usually have the following contents, operations are very simple.

1. Under normal circumstances, the service life of detection components and compensation components is usually 2-3 years. If the working environment is good and properly maintained, their service life can be extended appropriately.

2. Some combustible gas alarm detectors are designed with button. For detectors with test button, the test button should be pressed once a week to check whether the alarm system is in normal status. Regularly check and calibrate the zero point and measure range every 2 months.

3. If the working environment is relatively harsh, such as being humid or there is a risk of being splashed or dripped by water frequently, you should always check whether the combustible gas alarm detector has accidentally entered water. Remove the breathable cover and clean it to prevent choke.

4. If the combustible gas alarm detector has explosion-proof function, measure range of the instrument should be mastered, and it should not be used beyond the specified range. Sulfur-containing occasions should be avoided to avoid direct corrosion of internal components, causing direct damage to the combustible gas alarm and affecting the effective detection of combustible gas on site.

5. If you need to overhaul or move the position the combustible gas alarm detector, you need to power off the instrument before operating, otherwise it will easily burn out the components.

6. Do not immerse the combustible gas alarm detector in water or other liquids. Avoid the use of pungent odor substances such as pesticides, paint, a large amount of alcohol, etc., so as to prevent these irritating gases from causing false alarm;

7. Avoid high-concentration combustible gas impact the sensor. If it is not used for a long time, when use again, it should be powered on and preheated for 2 hours.
